Why did you choose to go to Paris, France?

I had the chance to go to Paris or London and as I had never been in Paris before I chose to try there.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I have been there for 5 months. The french goverment gives money to all students but to get it the process is really long and it is only in FRENCH

What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?

there are many international students and it is easy to make friends. But the french people are not open at all.
If you want to be accepted in a french group, you need to be fluent in french otherwise it is almost impossible

Would you recommend the city and the University of Paris to other students?

If you speake the language i would recommend, otherwishe won´t go there.

What is the food like?

nothing special and really expensive

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Paris?

Yes. It is really hard to get a room there. the best way to rent it through an agency.

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

sharing a room can cost 550€/month per person. if you want a room for yourself it will cost 700-800€ month

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Paris from your city?

The most economical way to travel to Paris from the Basque country is by bus. you can take it in Biarritz. or the train that starts in Henday

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Paris?

Yes but be ready to pay a lot

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Paris in the future?

Be patiend with french people and be ready to expend loooooot of money
