Why did you choose to go to Paris, France?

because it's known to be the most beautiful city in the world plus the company that I got chosen to do my internship was situated in paris

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

with the help of the school and some fundraisers as well with the help of other financial help institution such as LOJIQ we were able to raise about 1700 CAD however paris is very expensive mainly with the currency exchange. overall for a stay of 3 months including rent my stay cost me around 3'500$ beside the help of the foundation. it can be reduced if you limit your spendings

What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?

very fun there's a lottt of intertainments and activities. the city is small but there's so much to do! you will fall in love with this city !!!!

Would you recommend the city and the University of Paris to other students?

I would recoment the city as for universities I can't say since I did not stay at the doorms. however, not anyone will be able to coop. its a fast paste lifestyle so whoever is going there should be able to take care of their own and be on top of their activities because it is not as safe as montreal

What is the food like?

OMG heaven!!!!!! the food is to die for !!! if you think you will loose weight in paris !! Haa forget it !! the food is amazing !!!! any local restaurant would be heaven !!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Paris?

I was lucky with the place that I got, I rented a room at a foster family( it was an old lady ) but she was supper sweet and the place was amazing however start looking for places as soon as you can because they fly by fast and plus do not send money at all prior to your arrival!! it has happened people send money for a place that doesn't even exist !

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

the rent for a room in a house cost me 500 euros per month

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Paris from your city?

metro trains !! very close and fast and accessible everywhere

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Paris?

Montmartre it AMAZINGG sit in any restaurant and order a bottle of wine ( very cheap there btw ) with a platter of cheese and enjoy the view of paris or for a nice little pub street go to rue lappe in the 11th district just avoid barbess by night

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Paris?

OMG anywhere you go the food is amazing but there's one specific place where they make canard comfit

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Muse du Louvre and chateau de Versailles is a must !! catacombs is very unique

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Paris in the future?

yess use the advantage of the fact that you are in Europe nd travel around because the ticket prices are peanuts when u travel within Europe
