Why did you choose to go to Paris, France?

I choose to go to Paris because of my studies.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I am currently not on any scholarship programme.

What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?

It is challenging, could be boring if you do not know people and fun if you have lots of friends.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Paris to other students?

I will recommend Paris, but be prepared to spend a lot of money. Standard of living in Paris is on the high side.

What is the food like?

I do not know much about the food, because I cook my food.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Paris?

No it did not, because I am living in the school's accommodation.

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

Roughly 1000 euros per month (including rent (excluding CAF)).

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The language is not so easy for me, because I am busy with my studies and I do not have much time to learn. There are courses available.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Paris from your city?

Train.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Paris?

I do not know much about the night life.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Paris?

No, sorry.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Definitely the Eiffel Tower and other places. Google should do the magic.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Paris in the future?

If you do not know how to speak French, learn as much as you can before you arrive in France. Also, be prepared to be drilled in your studies, and at the same time have as much fun as you can.
