How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I got no scholarship.

What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?

It is difficult if you don't speak french, but it depends on the kind of programme you are studying. For instance, my programme is 100% in English, so everyone understands you. If you live at Cité Universitaire, everyones speaks English as well.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Paris to other students?

Bureaucracy is terrible everywhere.

What is the food like?

Amazing. French cuisine is very good, but is expensive as well.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Paris?

No, but I was lucky because someone at Cité Universitaire declined their offer so I took his place.

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

€800-1000 per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Paris from your city?

I traveled from Cancún to Frankfurt and from there to Paris.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Paris?

Bastille, Opera, Oberkampf.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

There's pretty much something going on every night in Paris.
