How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

From September through to April. I received €300 per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?

It's good. Very good bar scene, good discounts for students (most museums and gallery's free) nothing is too far away

Would you recommend the city and the University of Paris to other students?

Yes absolutely the city. I don't know what the university of Paris is like.

What is the food like?

Good but not cheap. If you like rich, traditional French food then it's great. Lots of Japanese and burger places too.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Paris?

Yes.

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

€750 a month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Your ear adjusts but my progress has been quite slow. My own fault though.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Paris from your city?

Easiest - Eurostar or flight. Cheapest - bus.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Paris?

Bastille, oberkampf, Latin quarter.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Paris?

The 3 courses for €10-15 places in Latin quarter are good. La coincidence by oberkampf is good.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

most galleries and museums seem to be worth a visit. Endless good expostitions.
