Why did you choose to go to Paris, France?

I choose Paris because my University had a partnership with the École Normale Supérieure, which is a very important research and study institution.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The scholarship is 9 months long.

What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?

It depends on the Faculty, very happy and friendly anyway.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Paris to other students?

No, never.

What is the food like?

Good, almost. There are good canteens provided by the CROUS.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Paris?

Yes, a lot.

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

A lot.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

French is easy. There are a lot of courses.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Paris from your city?

The train.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Paris?

Never.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Paris?

Better not, if you don't want to become poor soon.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Tour Eiffel and Galerie Lafayette.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Paris in the future?

Don't come here, there's too smog!
