Why did you choose to go to Paris, France?

Because I wanted to learn French.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The scholarship it was for six months and I received 230 Euro per months from University.

What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?

In Paris there are many thing to visit, to explore to enjoy. So there aren't enough time to do all thing what you would. Usually in the evening I met with my Erasmus friend for have a drink or go at party in home's friend.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Paris to other students?

Yes because Paris is very organized in order to receive foreign student (Paris is an international city) and also for univertity is the same.

What is the food like?

I don't like french food. But I'm Italian XD Usually I ate with my friend and we preparate the specialities of our nation.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Paris?

I spent 400 Euro par months for a room in a flat with other two guys. I lived to Belleville.

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

I spent about 800-900 Euro par months because we need of monthly Subscription for metro (65€ par months Zone1-3) the rental room (400 for me) the food (not less of 250€ par months), the party 2-3 time at week (we have to buy something...so other money..)

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

The french for me it wasn't be difficult to learn. It's much like Italian and spanish. Otherwise the univerity usully organize french class but for learn rapidly you have to speak with french guys. The better is to live with other french people.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Paris from your city?

Only way for me is the Plane. But all my Erasmus friend travel to Paris with the plane. It's most economical way.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Paris?

Everywhere. At Paris there are many place for enjoy with friend, usually I gone to Bastille, Champ de mars, MixClub (It's free for Erasmus student every Thursday).

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Paris?

I was been in a few of restourant. I applied on website Lafourchette. There you can find many nice restourant.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The Museum of Louvre, D'Orsay de l'Air et de l'espace, Grevin, The Chateoux de Versailles, Disneyland, ecc.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Paris in the future?

Yes, if you can you have to rent a room in a flat with other foreign students, French if it's possible. Good luck!!
