Why did you choose to go to Paris, France?
To improve my spoken French and comprehension of the language
Would you recommend the city and the University of Paris to other students?
Don't study at the university but would recommend the city, beautiful city with plenty of things to do
What is the food like?
Great, lots of variety too
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Paris?
No
How much does it cost to live in Paris?
A lot
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Paris from your city?
Plane is quickest and most convenient, trains or coaches are a lot cheaper but a lot longer, I prefer to fly
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Paris?
Bastille, Republique, Bonne nouvelle, grands boulevards are all nice areas, competir general is a nice bar/club in Republique area!
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Paris?
Indiana chain are great, anything from curry to rib platters to steak, been to plenty before but forget the names
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Aside from all the really famous thing like the louvre and Eiffel Tower, which are definitely worth a visit, the musée d'Orsay is worth a visit too along with any of the the museums around the city, and also the churches, notre dame, Sacré Coeur and Saint Germain des pres are all very impressive
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Paris in the future?
Don't use taxis from the airport, if they think you are a tourist they will hike the prices up, found that out the hard way
