Why did you choose to go to Paris, France?

Because the school was of great level and a lot o opportunities might arise.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I got 1200€ after I came back from Paris.

What is the student lifestyle like in Paris?

It's expensive, but you can still have fun.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Paris to other students?

For sure.

What is the food like?

Nice food, but at high prices. The school canteen was OK for the price.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Paris?

I had some connections, so it wasn't so hard.

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

A lot. At least 600€-800€ every month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

It isn't so hard. Yes, I got french lessons there.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Paris from your city?

Bus or plane, I guess.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Paris?

Chatelêt area and Rue des Moufftards.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Paris?

Le Malakoff, on Trocadero. Great confit de canard, but probably a little expensive (I was invited).

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Versailles, Ducs des lombards (good jazz), Louvre, War Museum, Pantheon, Shakespeare and Co Bookshop (must see!), Orsay, among others.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Paris in the future?

Be careful on finding housing, there are a lot of scams going on online. It's like everywhere else: be thorough.
