Why did you choose to go to Paris, France?

I wanted to practice a third language and change my impression of the french capital, which wasn't a good one since my first holiday in Paris was ruined by rain!

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

the scolarship is for duration of my whole stay, which is 5 months! it covers about 30% of the living costs!

Would you recommend the city and the University of Paris to other students?

The University Pantheon Assas is quite different from my home institution since there are no study materials but one has to attend every lecture to have accurate notes, which are

What is the food like?

The food is excellent, there are lots of international cuisines available and in particular the French food is amazing! I especially enjoy the various places to have a petit dejeuner! Unfortunately the prices are the highest I have experienced in all of Europe, on average it's even more expensive than in London!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Paris?

a little bit! since the living costs are high, it was important for me to keep those costs low!

How much does it cost to live in Paris?

more than twice the rent that you have to pay in Vienna on average, even a little bit more than what you would pay in London

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There are language courses available, which are really helpful! In general the language is quite a challenge for most students!

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Paris from your city?

by plane!

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Paris?

Comptoir général!

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Paris?

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

loads, everyone has heard about them! i enjoy that museums are free for EU residents under the age of 26!

make sure your french is on a good level and don't expect good whether!
