Sa Calobra is definitely one of the highlights of my stay on Mallorca. To reach Sa Calobra, I recommend using a rental car. The public transportation to this place is not properly organized and expensive, whilst a rental car costs around 30 euros a day. It's also nicer to rent a car, because you can see more that way and decide for yourself which route you will take.

Don't forget to fill up the tank (! ) before you're going to drive in the mountains, because there aren't a lot of gas stations in the mountains itself!

Of course it's much better and more fun when you are driving on this road yourself.

My first reaction when we arrived at the location was: P E R F E C T I O N!

The beautiful aspect of this beach, is that it's located in between two caves. To get to the beach, you have to walk through one of these caves. most-beautiful-place-on-earth-7e5b886903

There is clear blue water and especially when the sun is shining on it, it looks like the water is made up out of little crystals! The beach is also very clean. All visitors are neat and throw their garbage in the trash bins.

The advantage of this beach is, that it's not a real tourist attraction. Mainly locals and Spanish tourists which are visiting Mallorca take a trip to this beach. The visitors are very calm, which makes this a place to rest and become 'zen'.

Tip: don't eat at the touristic restaurants around this location! These are very overpriced and the food is definitely not worth the money!
