At summertime, living in the center is stressful, but in winter you can go wherever and however you like

What is the student lifestyle like in Palma de Mallorca?

It doesn't have many student life, because most people studying at university, are locals, so they live with their parents, and it changes everything, less student flats, less student parties, less crazyness, whatever i don't know about erasmus lifestyle

How much does it cost to live in Palma de Mallorca?

In center, is very expensive because of the tourism, so stay away of the very center of Palma.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Palma de Mallorca? Is there any advice you can give?

I don't really know, you can search for it in local newspapers like "diario de mallorca" or "última hora"

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

You can find every tipe of restaurants in Mallorca, however Mallorca has a mediterranian cuisine and his own typical dishes, frito mallorquin(pork liver with vegetables), tumbet( fried vegetables with tomatoe sauce) and obviusly paella and ensaimadas.

What places would you recommend visiting in Palma de Mallorca?

In the city, you can miss the stunning gothic cathedral, the old town and the jew quarter.

Is it good to eat out in Palma de Mallorca? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes, it is and so affordable if you know where to go.
my favourite place is Santa Catalina, near to the center is a place with many qualificated restaurants and even with a local market where you can taste with a drink the really flavour of Mallorca.

Is the nightlife good in Palma de Mallorca? Where is good to go?

The main place, is the Paseo Maritimo, plenty of clubs, but if you don't like reggeton it's not your place, so if you like rock you must go to Tunnel in Gomila, that is upside Maritimo.
If you like electronic, unfortunately you'll have to look for puntual partys

What advice would you give future students heading to Palma de Mallorca?

Make local friends, they'll discover you many hidden places.
And enjoy the sun!
