Why did you choose to go to Palma de Mallorca, Spain?

Because of the geographic location, nice weather and also some friends had good reccomendations from their mobilities from here.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Scholarship depends on the lenght of the study, I received it for one semester, as I was studying there. It covered the basic things, such as accomodation, transport and food, but not all the spendings.

What is the student lifestyle like in Palma de Mallorca?

There are a lot of things to do. People can go to the beach, do different sports (there is one international group, which organize a lot of sport and free time activities), enjoy walks in the city centre with friends, visit some cafeterias and shops around and also who likes it, there are many possibilities of parties at night.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Palma de Mallorca to other students?

Definitely!

What is the food like?

Not so different from my country. But I learned to eat more vegetables and salads there :)
And in the restaurant don´t forget to try paella!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Palma de Mallorca?

No, I found it by internet.

How much does it cost to live in Palma de Mallorca?

Depends on person and price of accomodation. It can be togother 500 euros/month or more.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, there are courses at the University and it is good choice to take it.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Palma de Mallorca from your city?

By plane, of course.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Palma de Mallorca?

Paseo Maritimo de Palma

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Palma de Mallorca?

100 montaditos on Plaza Espaňa - a lot of food for a very cheap prices.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Palma de Mallorca in the future?

Traval as much as you can and enjoy all the time, it will go very fast.
