Why did you choose to go to Palma de Mallorca, Spain?

I chose to go to Palma de Mallorca, because I found that place very interesting. I've heard a lot of positive opinions about local customs, culture, and, undoubtedly weather is another advantage.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Scholarship lasts 5 months. I receive €300 every month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Palma de Mallorca?

During a week as a regular student I need to study, do homework, participate in lectures, but in weekends I manage to find some time to travel around the island, rest on the beach or party

Would you recommend the city and the University of Palma de Mallorca to other students?

I would definitely recommend the city and the University of Palma de Mallorca to other students.

What is the food like?

I'd been familiar with spanish cuisine before I've arrive to Palma . I love Mediterranean food, it's both tasty and healthy.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Palma de Mallorca?

It was difficult to find an accommodation which I can afford.

How much does it cost to live in Palma de Mallorca?

minimal expenses around €400

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

It is difficult to learn the language.There are Spanish courses available at the University- I took part in one of them.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Palma de Mallorca from your city?

The easiest and the most economical way to travel to Palma is by plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Palma de Mallorca?

Sabotage club

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Palma de Mallorca?

I recommend El Alpendre and Celler Premsa

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Castell de Bellver, Museo de Mallorca, Catedral de Mallorca, old town. I would also recommed an excursion to Soller.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Palma de Mallorca in the future?

I would advise them to find an accommodation near to metro station , because bus are always crowded, and sometimes bus driver doesn't stop at every bus stops
