Esperienza a Padova, Italia da Nicola
What is it like to live in Padua? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
To live in Padua is a good experience. Though there aren't a lot of things to do, it's a good destination to spend a 6-month erasmus. There are 2 clubs that organise Erasmus parties, lots of nice pubs, karaoke pubs and bars. Going out with friends in the park or in the city centre is wonderful.
What is the student lifestyle like in Padua?
Padua is a student town. Without students, I think it won't be as liveable as it is. We are 60, 000 people, from every part of Italy and of the world. It opens your mind.
How much does it cost to live in Padua?
If you manage to spare a little, you can spend something like 200 euros a month (rental and house expenses excluded)
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Padua? Is there any advice you can give?
You can find a house for like 230 euro a month, expenses excluded, or go to a "Residenza", paying up to maximum 290 euro a month all included. I suggest the last one: though you will spend a little more, it's an easier way to know more people.
What places would you recommend visiting in Padua?
Prato della Valle, Parco Iris, Piazza dei Signori and Piazza delle Erbe
Is the nightlife good in Padua? Where is good to go?
Factory Club, Fishmarket, San Clemente, St. John's Pub, Joyce Pub.
