Why did you choose to go to Padua, Italy?
Well, I did a lot of research before deciding on Padua. Most importantly, when I learned that Padua is the second oldest University in the world, and also it offering the Masters Program of my choice.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
My scholarship is for a period of 2 years, I receive 900 Euros per month as my stipend.
What is the student lifestyle like in Padua?
Padua is a student town and so everything here is student centered. Students receive more help than any other people.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Padua to other students?
Definitely.
What is the food like?
Being a cosmopolitan town, Padua has population from different parts of the world, this also influences the food. Different food is available, one cannot miss something that they will like.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Padua?
Sure. Especially since I am not a student from the European Union.
How much does it cost to live in Padua?
Around 450-500 Euros per month.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Not really easy, yes there is a language course being offered by the university.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Padua from your city?
Through Venice airport. From Nairobi to Venice, then a bus from Venice to Padua, which will cost around 8. 5 euros.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Padua?
Pratto Dela Valle.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Padua?
Not really sure about the restaurants, but there are a variety of them located in different places of Padua. I believe they are awesome.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?

- St. Antony's Basilica Church
- The Museum
- The Botanical garden
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Padua in the future?
Choose Padova and you will never regret it.
