Why did you decide to go Padua, Italy?

I like Italy and I like the language. Padua was the only choice for me in Italy.

How long does the grant last? How much money do you receive as aid?

I received 70% of my grant (1200 euros) a few weeks after I had arrived.

What is the student atmosphere like in Padua?

The student atmosphere is great in Padua, there are lots of bars and clubs, everything is close to the city centre.

Would you recommend the town and the University of Padua to other students?

I would recommend the town to other students, it is a really beautiful town.

What is the food like in Italy?

The food is great, quite typically Italian: pasta and pizza.

Was it difficult finding accommodation in Padua?

It wasn't difficult because there is an organisation which helps you to find a residence.

How much does it cost to live in Padua?

I pay 300 euros for the residence I live in.

How is the language learning going? Have you attended any courses at the university?

I haven't attended courses, but I know that they're really good. I think that the language learning is going well for me, I'm trying to speak Italian very often.

What is the cheapest way to get to Padua from your town?

I think the cheapest way is to catch a flight to Treviso and then get on a coach to Padua.

Where would you recommend for going out in Padua?

I like to go for a night out at the club, Factory, and when I want to go for a drink, there's always Piazza dei Signori, the main square.

When it comes to eating out in Padua, can you talk about your favourite places?

I haven't eaten out in many restaurants, but I think that the ghetto area has a good atmosphere for dining out.
