It wasn't my first option, but I was always sure that I wanted to go a town in Italy.

What's the student atmosphere like in Padua?

Padua is a town made for and by students. Wherever you go, there are students.

Would you recommend the town and the University of Padua to other students?

Of course.

What's the food like in Padua?

Pasta, pizza, the usual.

Was it hard to find accommodation in Padua?

No, I was given residence, but at the beginning, I was going to go for a flat, and this was very hard to find.

How much does it cost to live in Padua?

Around 400-500 euros a month, sometimes less.

How are you finding the language? Did you go to any course at university?

Italian is more difficult than you think, but in a few months you'll be capable of having a conversation. Yes, the university offers a free course at whichever level you're at.

What is the cheapest way of getting to Padua from your town?

In my case, it was Bilbao - Barcelona, Barcelona - Venice Marco Polo, but the cheapest are Venice Treviso, Bérgamo (then I recommend going via Flixbus or train to Padua) and Bologna.

Which places would you recommend going out in Padua?

I don't really like partying, but Factory (nightclub), Zanellato (bar), Fly (bar)...

When it comes to eating out in Padua, what are some of your favourite places?

You must visit Panzerotti and Calzopizzo de Signori. The Duomo pizzeria and Otvim bar, too.

Where would you recommend for a cultural visit?

There are many things to see, and Venice is only half an hour away.
