Why did you choose to go to Padua, Italy?
Because I was offered an interesting internship.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
1000 euros from the Erasmus scholarship, for a 3 months internship.
What is the student lifestyle like in Padua?
Very chill.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Padoue to other students?
Yes, totally!
What is the food like?
Italian food + regional specialties (all very good).
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Padua?
No, it was very easy.
How much does it cost to live in Padua?
Difficult to say, I surely spent around 200/300 euros per month (+ 200 euros for the flat).
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
I didn't speak Italian but I found a way to make myself understandable.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Padua from your city?
From Lyon, it's easiest by train, but it costs around 100 euros.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Padua?
You can find some good places in the center.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Padua?
I don't record the name of the restaurants but again, the center holds some good ones
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
La Cappella degli Scrovegni, la Torre de Specola, Venezia.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Padoue in the future?
It's very hot in the summer and all the students are gone in August.
