Why did you choose to go to Padova, Italy?
Because I have family in Italy and I can speak the language.
How long was your scholarship? How much grant money did you receive?
10 months, and around €200 a month.
What is the student atmosphere like in Padova?
Very lively, there are 65 000 students in a town of 300 000 people.
Would you recommend the town and the University of Padova to other students?
Of course.
What's the food like in Italy?
Very good, the best - ice creams and pizza!
Was it difficult finding accomodation in Padova?
No, I went to Padova a few months before starting my Erasmus to find a place to rent, and I found one, thanks to Erasmus students who were there the year before who were about to leave.
How much does it cost to live in Padova?
You can live comfortably with around €650 a month.
What's the language like? Did you go to any courses at the University?
Yes, I already knew the language but I went on a level C course, which wasn't bad. It was offered by the university for free.
What is the cheapest way of getting to Padova from your city?
By plane.
Is there any advice you'd give to future students of Padova?
Have lots of fun, the time flies by!
