Premium Outlets Orlando
As you probably know, Orlando in Florida is filled with several amusement parks. And just like in any other amusement park, shopping in one of many Orlando’s parks can be incredibly expensive. But luckily, there is a place in Orlando, where you can buy some clothes and shoes for a really cheap price.
Most of them will not have the Disney logo on them, but honestly, I would rather buy a shirt for ten dollars at the Premium Outlets Orlando and spend the rest of the money on other things (mainly food, of course), than buy a shirt inside one of the parks that will cost me around forty dollars.
Just look at how pretty this shopping complex looks!
Where can you find Premium Outlets Orlando?
Premium Outlets Orlando are situated a bit away from all the amusement parks, which is a good thing, since you will not have to battle the crowds when shopping there. You will find this shopping complex on 8200 Vineland avenue.
Since the shopping complex is so big, it is a good idea to check the map before you head there, so you can plan where to park. I am speaking from my own experience - I had no idea how big this place actually is, so I parked on a totally opposite side (bad luck), and it took me fifteen minutes to reach the desired store!
The main parking lot... and a lot of palm trees. Well, remember, you are in Florida. In Ohio, this would be a very unusual sight.
What stores are there?
Premium Outlets Orlando offer close to two hundred stores and restaurants. If you know what you need great, if you are just going there to stroll around, that is great as well. But again, I would strongly advise you to check the map before heading there, so you will not skip any of the stores that you like.
The stores I will mention below, are the ones that I went to and liked.
First of all, the Disney outlet. In this store you will find everything you would also find in the Walt Disney World, but for the fraction of the price. The math here is obvious, isn’t it? Also, this store is much less crowded that souvenir stores in Walt Disney World. Choose wisely. And keep in mind that those are original items, not some cheap knock offs.
If you ever wanted to have a Kate Spade handbag, but you found the prices to be a little bit (read: waaaaaay) too high, I have good news for you. You are now able to afford a brand new Kate Spade handbag at this Kate Spade outlet store. Of course the models they are selling, are from the previous seasons, but hey, it is still a Kate Spade bag!
Out of curiosity, I also went to the UGG store. I am aware that their boots are made out of animal skin, and I would never buy a pair, but, like I said, I was just curious. I was impressed by the selection of items (until I remembered what they are made out of) - gloves, hats, slippers, and the infamous UGG boots.
When I was still living in Europe, I do not remember people being obsessed with yoga pants from Lululemon. But in the United States of America, this brand has almost a religious following. For me, Lululemon leggings are just a regular leggings, but until I discovered this outlet store, I never thought I will buy them, simply because they are way too expensive. But in this store, I was able to find a pair for less than forty dollars. I am popular now!
Before visiting the Premium Outlets Orlando, I have never heard of a store, called 7 for all mankind, and once I stepped inside, I immediately fell in love with it! I usually hate shopping for jeans, because I am short (thanks, mum!) and it is really hard to find a perfect pair. Usually, I will find jeans that I like and fit me very well, but they are way too long. Or, I will find jeans that are a perfect length, but they will make me look like an elephant. Well, I do not know what the people at 7 for all mankind did when creating their jeans, but I was able to find three pairs that fit me like the glove, and since this is an outlet, they were very cheap. I paid less than one hundred and twenty dollars for all three pairs. Meanwhile I am not sure about their durability yet, I will for sure update this post after a few months.
Every girl (and woman) needs a decent dress. And I found my perfect one in Elie Tahari store. In this store, I saw plenty of fancy dresses for more than a reasonable price. And I have to say that I am not the biggest fan of wearing dresses (I prefer jeans!), but I loved quite a lot of dresses in this store. I guess there is still hope for me, after all.
Tommy Bahama is another clothing store that you can find at Premium outlets Orlando. I love their beach - style clothes and accessories, and in some places, you will also find Tommy Bahama restaurants!
Tommy Bahama is one of the biggest stores in all of the Premium outlets Orlando shopping complex.
If the store name Bottega Veneta sounds Italian to you, you are right. In this store, you will find Italian leather goods, and for cheap people like me, this store is suitable for window shopping only (also known as pretending you want to buy something, but at the same time knowing you will never spend that much money on a handbag). I mean, would you rather buy a purse for a thousand dollars, or take a luxury trip somewhere nice for that same amount of money? Well, to each their own, but I know I would much rather travel. But nevertheless, I saw some really amazing purses, and if they cost a few hundred dollars less, I would definitely buy them.
Regarding restaurants, the ones worth mentioning are the Currito Burrito, which is a place that serves a mix of curry and burritos (totally worth trying), and for dessert you can treat yourself to a Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. Oh, and grab a candy or two at It’Sugar. They sell Pusheen plush toys too. You are welcome.
You will also find a big store with sporting shoes, including all the famous brands, at Premium outlets Orlando, called Famous Footwear. I loved most of the shoes they are selling, but the store was too full of people, in my opinion.
The store is impossible to miss. Situated right next to the main parking lot, it also has an enormous sign that cannot be missed.
A short conclusion…
When I visited Premium Outlets Orlando, I only planned to spend an hour or two there - I needed something to do before eating dinner, and I ended staying there for almost four hours, and yet I still felt like I did not see everything! Most of the stores offer great deals. After all, they are outlet stores, and even though some models are from the last season, there is no reason to pay the full price for them.
