What is it like to live in Novi Sad? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Some say that Novi Sad is the most beautiful city in Serbia, I kinda agree with that. It has the Danube river, it has lot of festivals and entertainment events, especially during the summer, and the people here are friendly and warm. It has a chill vibe, but it also has lots of places to party.

It is quite cheap here, compered to European terms. 1 beer (0, 5l) in a pub would usually cost around 1. 50- 2. 00e. The grocery stores are plentiful and cheap as well, and there are lots of places where u can eat 24h/7.

Getting in contact with the locals prior to coming here is what I would advise. It is easy to find a good apartment for a cheap price at a good location, the locals know where to look for.

The food is amazing! We eat a lot of meat and bread, so some people find it a bit heavy. They get used to it though, because it's delicious.
