New York, from the 2nd to the 9th of March 2009
Security is really good in the area, and the people are kind and open. Remember to take some money with you, but take care because it blows! The notes are similars to those that we use in the “Monopoly”, and there are huge shops even under the sewers, so it's difficult not to spend everything. Futhermore, there was something that made me feel surprised, the taxes are not included in the prices, so I was always surprised when paying :) And then you have to add the tipps, of course.
In relation to the food, I could say that that was the worst part. In general, it was really expensive (mineral water is valued like gold) and nothing outstanding. Nonetheless, there are some alternatives in order not to spend a lot. I used to have dinner in a chain of food called “Subway”. It was fairly good and it was considerably cheap. Generally, you spend a lot of money in food, though. Definitely, this is a city that everybody should visit, at least once in live.
As I've said, I'd go back without any doubt. In fact, I hope I'd do it. I'd never thought that I could fall in love with a city, but this one worths it!
