Experience in Napoli, Italy by Sarmad
What is it like to live in Nápoles? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Good weather, food and big volcano. Beware of pocket pickers.
What is the student lifestyle like in Nápoles?
Student lifestyle is great in Napoli. On a weekend you can go to beautiful sea front near via Partenope. All archaeological sites are free on first Sunday of every month.
How much does it cost to live in Nápoles?
500 if you don't share room and 350 if you share it. This is for living in city centre. If you live in fourigrotta ( newer part of city, rent is little bit less)
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Nápoles? Is there any advice you can give?
No not at all. In Napoli, easiest way to find accommodation is through some agency but they charge a lot, usually one month rent. So best way is to go through Erasmus point.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Food is awesome there. I liked eating chocolate cornetto (you can find it on every second café).
What places would you recommend visiting in Nápoles?
Capri Island, Mount Vesuvius, Pompeii, Royal Palace
What advice would you give future students heading to Nápoles?
Be careful. Don't arrive here late night specially Naples central station area.
