Montpellier is a great place to be a student! It's a lively student city with great weather, I would really recommend it!

What's Montpellier's student scene like?

There's 3 large universities in Montpellier, something which has earned it a reputation as a student city. It's awesome to be a part of the vibrant student community here.

What's the cost of living in Montpellier?

It's about average in general, however, it's pretty expensive in the city centre, particularly near the city's main square, la Comédie.

Are there any places you'd recommend for a night out in Montpellier?

In terms of bars there's a few, notably L'Alhambra, Al Andaluz and Cubanito. There's also a few good clubs, there's The Rockstore for good live music and DJs, Panama Cafe and Le Cargo for a more commercial boogie, and La Villa Rouge and Dieze for heavier techno-orientated nights.
