How much does it cost to live in Montpellier?

Down town, it's quite expensive. But if you go in the surbubs, it's ok. There is a great network of tramway and bus, so you're not so isolated and go down town to do shopping, go to theater...

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Montpellier? Is there any advice you can give?

There is many website in which we can find an accomodation, like pap.fr (this is where I found my flat).

What places would you recommend visiting in Montpellier?

"L'écusson", the ancient downtown area is really nice! You walk in little streets, untill you are lost! But you don't care because you may find some places to drink a beer, coffee, surrounded by great monuments!

Is it good to eat out in Montpellier? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

"Ma première cantine" in Jean Jaures place, up to the Comédie place. It's a little restaurant, cheap, where you can eat some dishes from France (I recomend the "aligot saussisse" really really great!).
