What is it like to live in Montpellier? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I would totally recommend it. It is a safe city full of fun and beautiful places. You can perfectly have a quiet life, but really fun at the same time, you also have amazing places around, like Carcassonne and the beach is really good.

What is the student lifestyle like in Montpellier?

Well I'm not really a student, I'm just doing an internship at Montpellier so I could not say.

How much does it cost to live in Montpellier?

It's a bit expensive compared to South America but It's cheaper than Paris. So it's a mixture of things.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Montpellier? Is there any advice you can give?

I came here just for the summer so it was really easy to find a cheap flat.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Food is amazing. I love the fromage of France.

You have many places at la Place de la Comédie. They have good mediterranean food.

Is the nightlife good in Montpellier? Where is good to go?

Well I've been travelling around so I still need to see how is it, anyway I went to watch the worldcup matches bars seemed great.

What advice would you give future students heading to Montpellier?

Learn French, eat a lot, meet people and discover.
