What is it like to live in Montpellier? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Montpellier is a sea beach city in France. Very calm and quite life. Montpellier is called city of students.
Weather, food, entertainment all are fantastic.
What is the student lifestyle like in Montpellier?
In one word if I say that is about Montpellier, “ A city of students. “
How much does it cost to live in Montpellier?
Living cost: €200-€700.
Fooding cost: €200.
Monthly travel pass: €50.
Tuition fees :depend on the institution.
In total other than tuition fees €800 is ok to live in Montpellier as a full time student.
Mind it part time work opportunity is very very very less in Montpellier.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Montpellier? Is there any advice you can give?
It is not much difficult to get an student accommodation. But it is strongly recommended to arrange accommodation before arrival. Hotels are too much expensive for a student.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Montpellier have KFC, sushi, kebab, local French foods.
My favorite dishes are KFC and Kebab.
What places would you recommend visiting in Montpellier?
Montpellier is a small city. So in weekend you can visit all places gradually.
Is it good to eat out in Montpellier? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Outside food is expensive. So better to cook by yourself. Cost is much less.
City center, sea beach, big markets were my favorite spots.
Is the nightlife good in Montpellier? Where is good to go?
Nightlife in Montpellier is nice. Bars, night clubs are full specially on weekend.
Most bars are in and around city center area.
What advice would you give future students heading to Montpellier?
It will be a very good opportunity if any one get chance to study in Montpellier.
Because the student life is full of joy and a lot of time to pay attention for study. As part time work chance is less.
No one should plan and go to study Montpellier that earn and study. Impossible. So please keep it in mind.
