How do you find living in Medellin? Do you recommend it? How is it?

It's a beautiful city with an admirable culture. There climate is springtime all year around and it's always blooming. The people are very kind, yes it's a cheap city and I believe it's due to the development that the city has had. They have quality of life there; it's one of the best places to live.

How is student life in Medellin?

It depends a lot on the university in which you are. It changes quite a bit from one university to another, but in general, the atmosphere is good and at times, very bohemian.

How much does it cost to live in Medellin?

It's possible to live perfectly on 600 euros a month.

Was it hard to find accommodation in Medellin? Can you give any advice?

It wasn't hard to find. There are a fair amount of student areas that have shared flats. You don't pay a deposit when you rent somewhere. They even believe in contracts by word there.

How is the country's food? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is delicious. You can have juice from a different fruit, every day for a month. There is a wide variety of fruit, the food is very fresh and it isn't very seasoned.

Which places do you recommend visiting in Medellin?

Guatape, El Peñol, The Botero museum, Lleras park, Pueblito Paisa, Barefoot park, the Park de los Deseos, the botanical garden is precious, Río park and the bike-way every Sunday, that goes through the whole of Medellin.

And to eat in Medellin? Can you name your favourite places?

Mi buñuelo is delicious for breakfast, hamburguesas del corral are hamburgers from a very good Colombian brand or any of the Llera or Laureles Park's restaurants. They are two parks in the zona Rosa where there are a wide variety of places to eat at. Restaurant Palmitas.

Which places do you recommend to go out to party in Medellin?

Lleras park and the clubs there are on vía Las Palmas.
