What is it like to live in Medellin? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Life in Medellin is wonderful. Nice weather all year round (known as the eternal spring), low prices and kind people. I recommend it a lot, of course. It may be the best city in Colombia.

What is the student lifestyle like in Medellin?

Very good. It is nice for the students, because the lodging is easy, good and cheap. Moreover, the relationship between the students and teachers is very close.

How much does it cost to live in Medellin?

A little. As a student you will spend maybe 300€.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Medellin? Is there any advice you can give?

No, it is really easy. If you are going to study, there is a lot of accommodation next to the universities or in a place called "El poblado".

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is awesome. There are a lot of dishes. I like the famous "Bandeja Paisa".

What places would you recommend visiting in Medellin?

"El parque arvi", is a nice place. "Guatape" - the biggest rock in the world and nearby "Envigado" and a nice city 30 minutes from Medellin "Sabaneta".

Is it good to eat out in Medellin? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes, it is. I like to go Envigado's restaurants.

Is the nightlife good in Medellin? Where is good to go?

Yes, of course. In Envigado, Sabaneta, and many others.

What advice would you give future students heading to Medellin?

Enjoy the city. You'll realise that people will help you all the time.
