What is it like to live in Medellin? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Live in Medellin is great! it is a vibrant city, with plenty things to do, very clean and modern combind with lot of nature. The people is incredible warm and you the party its crazy. It is not at all what narcos says . Pablo Escobar era its already gone and the city had reinvented itself. Totally worth to give it a chance.

What is the student lifestyle like in Medellin?

it is calm during the week, from tuesday to sunday the nightlife is lit. The weather is most of the times sunny so you can be outside doing all kind of activities all the time. The city offers cultural meetings such a free theater, concerts etc...

How much does it cost to live in Medellin?

it is not expensive at all

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Medellin? Is there any advice you can give?

Medellin is full of hotels and hostels in the best part of the city. The best student hostels are located in a neighborhood called Provenza, really affordable prices and near everything you need.There is also many apartments for rent.

Is it good to eat out in Medellin? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

there is a huge gastronomic offer. excellent restaurants for very good prices. The best restaurants are located at calle de la buena mesa, Provenza and la avenida nutibara

Is the nightlife good in Medellin? Where is good to go?

the nightlife in Medellin is one of it best things, although unlikely other countries the party starts early like at 10 pm and ends at 3 or 4 pm max. I highly recommend the pubs located in an area called provenza and the lleras park, also the ones located at the mall rio sur
