The student lifestyle here is very good. Student have many discounts, opportunities and places to go. Therefore, I would give it a 5/5 stars.

How much does it cost to live in Maribor?

Living in Maribor probably doesn't cost as much as in some other European cities. You will need 110 euros at least for the monthly rent. Besides, for example, eating out, having a student discount, will cost you an average of 2, 5 euro. Those are basic expenses, but the others are up to you.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Maribor? Is there any advice you can give?

I wouldn't say it is difficult to find a place to live. Everything depends on how much you are prepared to give for a rent. Generally, you have two options - student hostels and renting an apartment. You can find a room in student hostels (which most usually you will have to share with 2 people, or more) for 100 euros and above. The price of renting is something more, about 120 euros and above, but prepare to share a room with 4 and more people. If you wish to stay in a single room, the price will go up around 180 euros and more.

You have many restaurants where you can eat as a student. The food varies from one restaurant to another.

Is the nightlife good in Maribor? Where is good to go?

Almost every week there are student parties in different clubs. Depending on your music taste and style, you have many to choose from. I would recommend "Trust" and "Kaos", both near student hostels by Štuk.
