Is it difficult to find accommodation in Maribor? Is there any advice you can give?
I don't think it is hard to find accommodation here in Maribor. The university helps to find housing for Erasmus students. You can either live in a dorm or a privet apartment.

Slovenian cuisine is overall very good. There is something for every taste. We are famous for Carniolan sausage (Krajnska klobasa) and Prekmurska gibanica (some refer to it as Over Mura moving cake but experts on Slovenian language refuse to accept this translation:)). So when in Slovenia, you should definitely try these dishes. I would also recommend adding some wine - Rumeni muškat (if you like white and sweet wine) or Refošk (if you like red and bitter).
