For me Maribor is a very beautiful city because it's not too crowded and big. It has a wonderful landscape and people are nice.
What is the student lifestyle like in Maribor?
It depends on what type of person you are. You can commit to sports or to different associations of your degree or just have fun at parties. Usually a lot of students go for a drink with their classmates before or after the lectures and talk about studies, life...

How much does it cost to live in Maribor?
On average from 200-450 euros per month, it depends where you live and what you eat.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Maribor? Is there any advice you can give?
I think it isn't, because most of the students live in student dorms, which are on different locations and not so far from faculties.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Food is very good especially if it's cooked with local ingredients.

Is it good to eat out in Maribor? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Yes, in Slovenia we have the coupons system (only country in Europe). Every student can eat a nice student meal in certain restaurants in Maribor or everywhere in Slovenia for 3-5 euros on average. The rest of the meal's price is subsidized by the Slovenian Government. I don't have a favorite spot for food, but I have a favorite spot for ice cream and it's in Slaščičarna Ilich.
Is the nightlife good in Maribor? Where is good to go?
The most party day through the work days for students is Tuesday, but also on Fridays and Saturdays you can party a lot. Good parties are in:
