How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

5 months. 230 €/month from university and 200 €/month from family.

What is the student lifestyle like in Maribor?

Very good. I have lectures two times per week so I have lots of free time to explore Maribor and other cities.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Maribor to other students?

Yes of course. The lectures are very interesting, people are very nice and helpfull.

What is the food like?

Amazing! You get student coupons and with them is very cheap to eat and the food is delicious eveywhere.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Maribor?

At first I was searching for flat only for two of us (couple) but they rent flats minimum for 1 year. So I found and amazing room in a shared flat. 6 peoples with us but we like it very much it is newly renovated flat and we have everything.

How much does it cost to live in Maribor?

140 €/month rent.

3€ for meal at restaurant with coupons (you get soup, salad, main dish and drink) and can use it every 4 hours.

So 300€ is enough.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, because I know Russian and Polish. So there is some similar words. And yes the university organise courses.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Maribor from your city?

By car. We travelled three days, two nights we booked a hotels in Poland and Czeck republick. We splited the money for three persons for gas, hotels and for one person it costs 80€. So It was cheaper than travelling by plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Maribor?
