I would recommend this university to students who especially want to study business, economics and finance. Because the University is almost expertised in these fields and it is in the top 5 universities in Germany.

You can buy food to cook it by yourself at home which is very cheap, or eat at the restaurants spread around all the city. Marktplatz is the best choice to eat something because of turkish restaurants.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Mannheim?

Actually, I lived in a hostel for a week to find accommodation. I would suggest to find your accommodation before coming to Mannheim, because especially, if you come here a few days before your study begins, you can't find it easily.

How much does it cost to live in Mannheim?

It depends on accommodation and food. But if you are living in a student dorm and cook at home, it would be approximately 700-750 euros, but I am living in a private house and have no much time to cook always at home, and due to these conditions I spend some estimated 800-850 euros per month. Moreover, you should take into account insurance fees, which is 80 euros per month, semester ticket (155 euros for 6 months).

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, there are many language courses offered to students, starting from beginner level (A1, 1:A1, 2, etc). You can choose intensive or normal courses. Besides german language courses, you can attend other language courses too.
