Why did you choose to go to Manchester, United Kingdom?

Because I wanted to improve my English during my internship. The accent here is hard to understand at the beginning.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

6 months with 400 € per month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Manchester?

Lots of students work after school, there are not really students activities except for pubs and night clubs.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Manchester to other students?

Yes, if they do not come alone but with one or two friends.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Manchester?

Yes, it did.

How much does it cost to live in Manchester?

Around £500 per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

No, it isn't.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Manchester from your city?

By plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Manchester?

I don't know, but I would like to know.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Manchester?

No, I don't usually eat in restaurants but the city seems to have lots of great places to go! There are restaurants with different sort of prices and with a good choice and multicultural food.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

China town, the Cathedral, lot of museums and art galleries.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Manchester in the future?

If you come at the beginning of the scholarship try to find a student accomodation or otherwise try to find friends who will become your housemates. There are a lot of amazing shops. Come and enjoy!
