"Le Carré"

"Le Carré" (The Square) is a place where all Liege students go. It is composed of small and narrow streets which are clustered in the center, near the cathedral. The streets are full of bars of all types (some of them have nice decoration as "Far West", or a specific type of music as in "Smile", with rap or metal, or places where they organized concerts as "L'escalier" (the stairs), etc. ).

At the end of the exams and during the "guindailles" period (numerous student activities), it is literally full. There are some bars that don't closed during all night and some of them "close" only between 6am and 7am to clean... Because Le Carré has the reputation to be dirty. They is a lot of ambiance and it is a good place for Erasmus students and also to meet some people.
