Leuven is a real student city, almost 70, 000 students study here, and over 30000 live here. It's a compact city with everything you need close. Even if you don't stay in the center, you will never feel alone!

Students in Leuven love to party! There are many possibilities for going out every night. You have bars owned by studentclubs, we call it fakbars, you have the regular bars and organized parties which you have to pay for. But every night is partynight here!

How much does it cost to live in Leuven?

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Leuven? Is there any advice you can give?

If you want to have a nice place to stay, you have to be quick! Shared appartments doesn't really exist here. Most of the time people have a room with their own bathroom and kitchen. Some people have a room with shared kitchen en bathroom.

Is it good to eat out in Leuven? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Because Leuven is such a big student city, everything is based on students. You can find student restaurants, almost every regular restaurant offers a studentmeal or special student prices.
