What is it like to live in Leuven? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
It is definitely a student friendly city. I would recommend this city to anyone because there is so much to do in Leuven. There is Lasershooting, cafés, restaurants of different varieties and prices. There is a large party central and lots of very nice people.
What is the student lifestyle like in Leuven?
Lot's of fun! There is always plenty of new people to meet and greet. The city has an international feel to it and everything is close by. You only need a bike to make life really easy.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Leuven? Is there any advice you can give?
No, it is certainly not difficult but if you want to have a cheap one ( around 340 euros) you should look for a accommodation on the ring of Leuven.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Lots of variety! I love vegan and vegetarian food so I would definitely recommend the loving hut and green way. There are so many pasta places and prices are afordable.
What places would you recommend visiting in Leuven?
The museum
Begijnhof
De kruidentuin ( botanical garden) - it's free!

Is the nightlife good in Leuven? Where is good to go?
It's good!
Just near the oude markt. You'll find everything there. Maximo on the naamsestraat and Rumba in the muntstraat is a good place to start.
What advice would you give future students heading to Leuven?
Go outside! There is always people to meet and never be afraid! The city is great and I promise you will have such a great time over there.
