Yes, it is one of the best universities in the world

local food is not so great, but there's a variety of restaurants from all over the world at affordable prices.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Leuven?
No, Leuven is one of the easiest cities to find good and affordable accommodation at any time.
How much does it cost to live in Leuven?
at least 800 euro per month
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
No, the language is not easy. English is widely spoken and there are thousands of international students. The interaction with locals is not so easy, they mostly like interacting in their own language and they have also their own type of social interaction
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Leuven from your city?
I am in Leuven
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Leuven?
Restaurants or bars in the center. There are also movie meetings and meetups but this needs to be checked on online groups
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Leuven?
Muntstraat is the street with all restaurants with variety of countries
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
In my opinion very few. Just one museum and the theater
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Leuven in the future?
The weather is pretty bad all year long, summers can be very rainy so be prepared for a lot of rain and wind
