What is the student lifestyle like in Leuven?

Leuven is filled with students, specially at night times. Each bar is fully crowded and there's a nice vibe in town!

How much does it cost to live in Leuven?

Leuven is quite cheap, you only need to go to the right places! You've got FAQ-bars in Leuven, they are non-profit bars run by students of different faculties.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Leuven? Is there any advice you can give?

You've got the private market, and there are a lot of sites to find one. But there's also rooms that the university provides and they're often much cheaper and well maintained.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

What places would you recommend visiting in Leuven?

Leuven is not that big. If you explore the city once in a while, you've seen the most and best parts of it!

Is it good to eat out in Leuven? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

You've got the typical Alma restaurants (restaurant for students), where you can eat for around 4 to 6 euro's per meal. But here again, find the right places! "De werf" is excellent!

Is the nightlife good in Leuven? Where is good to go?

"De Oude Markt" is the best place to go!

What advice would you give future students heading to Leuven?
