Leuven is an amazing city! It's a small city with a lot of erasmus students coming from over the world.

Oude Markt that is the main square is the best place for the nightlife

What is the student lifestyle like in Leuven?

There are different University, a beautiful park (heverly neighborhood) and a lot of bars and restaurant.
Bicycle is perfect mean to go everywhere.

How much does it cost to live in Leuven?

To live in Leuven 700-800€ for month should be enough.
Of course that depend of your lifestyle.
Usually you need 300€ to rent a room

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Leuven? Is there any advice you can give?

It's a bit hard because there are many and many students coming in Leuven.
So it's important to get started the research for an accommodation at least 2 month earlier
your departure.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I'm an italian guy, and the Belgium food is totally different.
If you like french fries, chocolate and beer, Leuven it's your place to live

What places would you recommend visiting in Leuven?

It's a small city so you have to walk around it to discover this amazing city.

Is it good to eat out in Leuven? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes there are a lot of italian restaurant, asian restaurant and Belgium brasserie.

Is the nightlife good in Leuven? Where is good to go?

To much nightlife :-)

Forget the sun, drink beers and enjoy Belgium!!!!
