How is living in León? Would you recommend it? How is it?

I recommend it because it is a beautiful city full with good atmosphere, good people, where it is worth living.

How is the student life in León?

It is really good, with helpful people and all kind of activities for students.

How much does it cost living in León?

It depends, although prices for accommodation are generally speaking cheap and in other aspects it is similar to any other European towns, a lot more cheap that other capital cities.

Was it hard for you to find accommodation? ¿Could you give us any piece of advice?

Honestly, the number of flats that are on offer is really high. Moreover, it is very useful to take a look to websites for accommodation.

How is the food of the country? Which are your favourite dishes?

It is fantastic. I strongly recommend the Spanish Omelette ("Tortilla de patata"), the jerky ("cecina"), the black pudding ("moriclla") and the tapas.

Which places would you recommend to visit in León?

The downtown, the old town, Astorga (another town closed to León), the Médulas (an old roman mine)...

And how is eating in León? Could you mention your favourite spots?

The Competencia (pizzeria), the Novia Asesina (bar-restaurant), the Wok (Chinese-Japanese)...

Which places would you recommend for a night out in León?

The Barrio Húmedo and the Barrio Romántico.

Is there any piece of advice that you would like to share with future students in León?

They should enjoy the city and its people.
