What is it like to live in Istanbul? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

İstanbul is really good and cosmopolit city.It's little bit hard to get used to this crowded city but it's all the time colorfull and fun:)

What is the student lifestyle like in Istanbul?

I can not say that "it is a student City" Cmon there is 16 million people living in the City ? but if there was any other chance to be a student, i would prefer to be student here again :)

How much does it cost to live in Istanbul?

It is a really expensive City. You need to be ready for this.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Istanbul? Is there any advice you can give?

It is not so very easy to find both cheap and comfortable house. And i dont recommend to people to live some parts of the City. The best offer i can give my house :) but for cat and plant lovers :)

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Turkey has one of the biggest kitchen in the world (Ottoman Kitchen). I can not say spesific one, they all my babies :) also i am a vegetarian and i all the time offer olive oiled staffs :)

What places would you recommend visiting in Istanbul?

I will not write one by one, but Beşiktaş, Kadıköy, Eminönü areas comes first.

Is it good to eat out in Istanbul? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

I love the restaurants with views :) Soçi generally prefer to go restaurants which sees Bosphorus :)

Is the nightlife good in Istanbul? Where is good to go?

If you are someone like me (i mean, i generally prefer home parties than others) you can easily find good pubs for relax chilling. Also İstanbul is a 24 hours city, you all the time can find a where to go?

What advice would you give future students heading to Istanbul?

Be careful. Dont trust everybody easily. Dont move before searching, and the first thing you should do is getting a public transport card and download "mobiett" app for bus lines ?
