Exploring Istanbul

Istanbul is one of those places which makes you earn her love and respect. Istanbul is almost a beautiful blend of Islamic and Western culture. As a student, studying and traveling I consider Istanbul quite inviting and comfortable. I suggest newcomers learn the language, you will surely benefit interacting with locals. Transport and food are cheap. Though be ready to shell out 250 euros every month for a good room. I suggest living independent and away from recent arrived Erasmus students, you'll surely learn more about culture and dynamics of Istanbul on your own, but be safe! Watch out for conmen!
