It is a big city with a huge population. Because of its population, you need to be patient. There is traffic jam all the time. But its history and landscape is superb. There is a chance to meet a lot of different types of people from many different cultures when you are in Istanbul. Even though, the city is a mixture of Middle east and Europe. Anatolian cuisine is just perfect and here in Istanbul you can find it everywhere. The life cost of one month for a normal student is about 900 TL.

What is the student lifestyle like in Istanbul?

If you live in one of the city centers ( there are many centers in Istanbul), that's great. Because you can easily find restaurants, cafes, bars where you can have good times with your friends. Moreover, the city centers are mostly historical places which means that you live in an historical atmosphere. However, you need to be careful also because shitty people are everywhere. The city is alive 24 hours.
