Istanbul is the largest city of Turkey.It's a city with a rich historical background. Landscape is also quite interesting, it's a bit expensive and sometimes very crowded with tourists and local people

What is the student lifestyle like in Istanbul?

Its quite interesting you can find students from different backgrounds and countries and there are lot of night parties and trips for students to different places in Turkey so overall it's a really niceexperience for students

How much does it cost to live in Istanbul?

It depends from area to area on an average bases I guess you can find a single room for 250€ to 300€ per month it can be more then this according to area. Food can cost 70€ to 80€ per month if you can cook by yourself otherwise the food outside is bit expensive.Public Transportation is not that expensive Istanbul card is used for all kind of public transportation including buses,metro buses,subway,ferries

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Istanbul? Is there any advice you can give?

No it's not much difficult there are a lot of accommodation options available in Istanbul there are some facebook pages and groups that helps you finding accomadation one of the Facebook group is

Food is nice
One of my favourite turkish food is tavuk şiş
In deserts Kunefe is very delicious

Night life in Istanbul can be experienced best around Taksim area as it is touristic place with night clubs and gatherings other then this ortakoy is also good for night life
