Istanbul is a really nice City to live. İstanbul never sleep. There are too many Cafe, Shopping Center, Restauranst in Istanbul. But if you don’t like crowd and ıf you like calm cities Don’t think to live in Istanbul.

What is the student lifestyle like in Istanbul?

Very easy to live as a student in Istanbul. There is no transport problem. You can go wherever you want easily and cheap. And there are too many places to hang out with friends.

How much does it cost to live in Istanbul?

2000 Turkish Liras is enough to live in Istanbul.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Istanbul? Is there any advice you can give?

No it’s not difficult. And cheap.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

In my opinion Turkish cuisine is one of the best cuisine in the world. Kebab, Döner, Lahmacun as the best for main course. And for dessert Künefe, baklava are my favorite.

What places would you recommend visiting in Istanbul?

Beylikdüzü and Esenyurt good places and low prices. But Bosporus areas prices are too high. But for once, my advice is Take a tour at Bosporus. Amazing View!!

Is it good to eat out in Istanbul? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes it’s good. Actually you can eat delicious food everywhere in Istanbul. Don’t forget to go Nusr-Et and Hatay Medeniyetler Sofrası. But be careful This restaurants are very expensive. Min 150 Turkish liras per person.

Is the nightlife good in Istanbul? Where is good to go?

Yes it’s good but some areas are dangerous to hang out at night time in Istanbul streets. If you decide to go somewhere at night in Istanbul, Try to go Bosphorus areas and search safe places.

What advice would you give future students heading to Istanbul?

Istanbul is a multicultural city. Small Country and over 20 million people lives in Istanbul. Is you like calm places don’t think to come istabul.
