What is it like to live in Istanbul? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Istanbul is a beautiful city. Most of the city in europe has one center, like old town, but istanbul has different place to see.

What is the student lifestyle like in Istanbul?

Lessons are not so difficult, therefore you can find a lot of time for having fun. The students in this city are very helpful and kind.

How much does it cost to live in Istanbul?

Turkey use Turkish lira. And right now 1euro=6.08tl so it is an advantage. But rent and drinks can be expensive.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Istanbul? Is there any advice you can give?

No. Istanbul is the center of everything in Turkey. You find a lot if place to live in internet

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Of course kebap, lahmacun, doner, sarma, manti etc are very tastful. You can find delicious food everywhere in this city. And they are not so expensive

What places would you recommend visiting in Istanbul?

Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia, Galata tower, Ortakoy...

Is it good to eat out in Istanbul? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It is always a great idea. You can prefer somewhere in Karakoy

Is the nightlife good in Istanbul? Where is good to go?

Taksim and Kadikoy are good option for that.

What advice would you give future students heading to Istanbul?

Istanbul lives all climate in one year. You have to be careful while you are preparing luggage. It is so hot after may, and it is so cold after november.
